Hiking & Climbing

These activities are offered as part of an effort to make the experiences more accessible to the nomad community.  We are not mountain guides or tour guides, we are just hikers and rock climbers sharing our knowledge and love for the mountains, and offering you some fun experiences.  While we will do our best to assist you along the way, it is ultimately your own responsibility to follow our instructions and to make sure you stay safe.

Aconcagua Park
Confluencia

full day trip

proyecto r.o.c.a.

This hike to Confluencia, Mount Aconcagua's first base camp, is an experience filled with natural wonders and simple joys. Beginning at the trailhead, you are immediately met with fresh mountain air and expansive views of rugged peaks.

As you follow the trail, crossing wooden bridges over babbling streams, you're surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Andes. Gradually, the towering peaks come into view, their snow-capped summits a majestic sight against the blue sky.

Arriving at Confluencia, you're welcomed by a peaceful valley nestled among the mountains. Tents dot the landscape, and fellow hikers share stories and laughter as they prepare for the night ahead.  We'll have a quick lunch at the camp (may be provided at additional cost) and head back.

On the way back, we'll stop at the Inca Bridge, a natural wonder on iconic Route 7, and appreciate the amazing geology of the area.  Further along the route, we'll stop at Lake Potrerillos for an incredible view of the lake that provides water for the city of Mendoza.
